The Nuova Sabatini programme (DL 69/2013, managed by MIMIT) provides Italian SMEs with a government interest contribution on bank loans for new machinery purchases, including packaging equipment. It is cumulative with the Transition 5.0 tax credit.

Italian SMEs can access a government contribution covering interest at 2.75% per year (3.575% for Industry 4.0 equipment) on 5-year bank loans of €20,000–€4,000,000 for new packaging machinery. Applications go through a MIMIT-partnered bank.
